This summer, local Sangamon County farmers gathered to hear from several ag engineering, construction, and university experts to learn about edge-of-field practices and how they retain nutrients in the soil.
They also got the opportunity to tour a saturated buffer and woodchip bioreactor to learn about the installation process and ask questions on how they work.
It was a great learning experience for all, and we were happy to be a part of the day! Thank you to all of the partners who had a hand in making sure the day was a success.
