Springfield Plastics, Inc. understands the installer's needs in using our products. We understand that when a installing a fitting in a line submerged in water that the fitting has to fit properly. |
||||
| We understand that one of the greatest areas for failure of the system is in the fittings, therefore our fittings are manufactured very strong to be able to stand up to the extra load placed upon them at the connections. We take great pride in offering many sizes of polyethelyne pipe maxi coils in 8” and 10” diameters. This allows the installer to order nearly an exact quantity of these sizes thus reducing left over plastic pipe. This also reduces the loading and unloading of partial coils improving the installer’s efficiency. |
|
Springfield Plastics, Inc. was the first company to introduce 15” maxi coils and still is one of the few that manufacture 15” in this manner. This manufacturing process is also used in other sizes making those coils much easier to uncoil. This makes a significant difference when the outside temperature is cold. The user will not have to walk or fight the inside wraps of the coil into the trench. The inside wrap will not have to be thrown away due to brittleness. Springfield Plastics, Inc. also ties strings on it’s inner wraps of the maxi coils which allows the coil to be dropped off of the trailer without falling apart. The combination of
our corrugation design and quality control allows the user to be able
to stand on our plastic pipe when it is in the trench without excessive
deflection occurring. This is very critical as the temperature increases
or when the backfill has frozen chunks of dirt in it. |
